As the warm summer days slowly give way to the crispness of autumn, I've been reflecting on sunny walks to and from the studio, long sunny markets across Seattle and Tacoma, and meeting so many friendly new faces. It's been a season filled with creativity, connection, and community. I am immensly grateful for all the support received from customers, followers, and friends. As we bid adieu to the summer market season, I'm excited to share our plans for the upcoming holiday season and express our heartfelt thanks for your continued patronage.
This summer has been a whirlwind of inspiration for my little passion project, Handmade by Ally Mabardy. We've had the privilege of meeting so many wonderful individuals at the various markets and events we've participated in including La Paloma Marketplace, Cutiefest, Sodo, Georgetown, and beyond! Your enthusiasm for handcrafted ceramics and stickers has been nothing short of incredible, and it's been a joy to witness how our creations have found a special place in your hearts and homes. We've even had images of pieces found in Zillow listings of your homes - how cool!
Our unique pottery pieces that adorned your dining tables, held your incense, lined your cupboards, and exquisite vases that graced your living rooms. Every sale at the summer markets was a testament to the appreciation for craftsmanship and artistry. Your feedback, stories, and smiles have fueled our passion for ceramics, motivating us to push the boundaries of our creativity even further.
We want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to all our customers, followers, and subscribers. Your unwavering support has been the backbone of this little business. I am truly humbled by the trust you've placed in me to make such special items. Whether you purchased a single item or became a regular customer, each interaction has been a source of inspiration and motivation. I am so grateful for the conversations we've had, the friendships we've forged, and the memories we've created together this summer. Without you, none of this would have been possible, and for that, I thank you from the bottom of my heart!
While I'm sad to see the summer season come to an end, and for the long sunny days to become the "long dark" the PNW is so accustomed to, I'm also excited about what lies ahead. As the holiday season approaches, I will be gearing up for a new phase – production mode! The holidays are a time when our creations find their way into homes as cherished gifts and festive decorations.
